Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu (1919-2010)
The Penang Free School Historical Society is saddened by the passing away of Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu, an Old Free.
Dr Lim attended Penang Free School. In 1937, he was a King’s scholar at Edinburgh University in Scotland and graduated in 1944 with a medical degree.
Tun served as the oldest Chief Minister of Penang for 21 years until 1990.
